VET VCE Resources

In 2006, Binary Blue received a grant from the Telematics Trust to produce four online resources for secondary schools to use in teaching VET VCE Multimedia.

A small team wrote the resources on scripting, writing, authoring and 2D animation.

These were made available free-of-charge.

Hundreds of multimedia teachers and thousands of students since that time have used their resources in years 11 and 12 to prepare for the VET VCE examination.

In 2010, the course changed and scripting was no longer taught as a unit.

Each resource provides a step-by-step process through the topic with exercises for each session. Each session is downloadable as a PDF so it can be handed out in class.

Three units are still relevant for the VET VCE Interactive Digital Media exam.

There are also some excellent audio resources available on writing for the web, 2D animation and web authoring, and a free tutorial on how to create podcasts.
